I had to run errands today, so I stopped in Michael's and grabbed 3 pieces of scrapbook paper for about $1.50. I played around on the computer and printed our family initial "R", then glued all the pieces together. I looked around the house for a place for my masterpiece and decided that my built in cabinet in the dining room needed a shot of color. So down came a muted colored rooster plate and my work of art took its place. Not too bad for a little time and money. Thanks Mom for not giving up on this beautiful frame.

Quick and Easy Project
My Mom has had this frame for quite a while that her boss didn't want in his office. She's tried to give it to me several times and I've loved the frame but thought, it's too big to go anywhere or to put a photograph in. Well, this weekend Mom brought it to my house again, so I decided to try and do something with it. The thought came to mind of doing an initial since that seems to be the trend now. This crafty idea was confirmed in my mind when I saw someone else's blog where they were making family initials on pieces of wood (thanks Kim M.).
